Governing Document
The organisation is a registered company. Its constitution is logged at Companies House and was adopted in 2000.

Name Change
The organisation applied to Companies House to change its name from Back to Basics Training for Somali Refugees to B2B Somali Arts and Education. This was ratified on 29 April 2008 and the constitution documents duly updated. It was felt that the new name properly reflects the work of the organisation in its current context.

Charity Registration
Application will be made to the Charity Commission for charity status in 2008.

New Policies
A Child Protection Policy and Adult Protection Policy were introduced in 2007. A Fundraising Policy will be introduced in 2008. A quality assurance system will also be implemented during the course of the year.

Over the years our funding has come from a number of sources. We wish to express our gratitude to those who have given us their support and hope that this will continue and grow in the coming years.
