Our Mission and Values

The mission of the organisation is to provide opportunities for marginalized members of the Somali communities, in particular women and children, to demonstrate and improve their skills and creative potentials.

We aim to improve their lives through provision of services that improves skills, employability, and integration in the community and through enhanced voice in decisions affecting their lives.

The key values fostered by Back to Basics are:
